What is a DIY Kit?DIY stands for Do It Yourself. We have two different kinds (or skill level) of DIY kits: a Simple DIY or an Advanced DIY. A Simple DIY is practically completed for you. You just need to stuff it and stitch all of the openings closed. An Advanced DIY requires the use of a sewing machine and a bit more time and skill to complete. The sewing required is nothing fancy - a beginner can easily accomplish it! There is a more detailed explanation of the different types of DIYs within the description of each DIY listing.

Why isn't stuffing included in DIY Kits and how much do I need?Stuffing is not inlcuded in your DIY kit in order to keep the shipping cost (which is worked into the overal price) down. We want to increase your savings! You can be eco friendly (and economical!) and re-use stuffing from cushions or children's stuffies that are no longer in use. Save up those felt or fabric scraps if you have any. They are a great way to add a bit of extra bulk in the centers of flames or rocks. We've even heard from a customer who used plastic bags for this purpose! How much stuffing do you need is a tricky question. We joke that our flames and rocks are "stuffed within an inch of their lives" and we use quite a lot of stuffing in making our finished products. But everyone will have their own prefernce to how they want their item to look. The sizes of campfires also vary and how much you'll end up using depends on the size you have purchased.

Can I machine wash my campfire? No! Our products are not machine washable. A care sheet is inlcuded with your purchase.
